Aleta Peacock was licensed in 1996 to practice law in Texas by the Supreme Court of Texas. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston, which she obtained in 1991. She graduated magna cum laude, and then went on to get a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 1995. While attending law school, Aleta represented indigent clients at trial through the University Family Law Clinic. She also completed a summer internship at the Office of the Attorney General of Texas, where she prosecuted child-support enforcement orders. She has since received supplemental training and certification in Family Law Mediation and Collaborative Law. Before opening her practice in Bastrop,Texas Aleta also practiced family law in Houston and Austin. Aleta is a member of the State Bar of Texas Family Law Section, and the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas.
